14 assists: Spurs may have finally found Eriksen’s perfect successor this summer

|

Spurs are going to be counting the days down to the Champions League final, of course, but in the meantime, there is plenty to keep us occupied.

We wait for Harry Kane news for example, whilst we’re also looking forward to seeing just who we might sign in the summer window.

Plenty of transfer links are getting made at the moment and one of the latest might well suggest that we have found the ideal replacement for Christian Eriksen.

The Danish attacking midfielder’s future is up in the air but with 12 Premier League assists he is going to be tough to replace if he goes.

According to the Daily Mail, though, Julian Brandt could well be the man to succeed him and that’d be no bad move given he has 14 assists in the Bundesliga.

Still young, big things are expected of the German and if he did come in and adapt quickly, he might be the ideal person to take over if Eriksen does depart our club.
