The transfer window is officially open but it’s bound to be not until after the Champions League final when the deals really start to happen.

Spurs are set to be linked with a huge number of players this summer, too, as we look to build on what has been a good season and we have been given some decent news in the race for Wilfried Zaha.

He has been a long-term target of ours and the likes of Teamtalk have suggested that this summer he will be again – though Palace, they say, are looking for around £75m – £80m for the winger.

Such a fee would obliterate our current signing record of Davinson Sanchez at around £42m, too, and an update concerning the winger has opened the door for us to do just that.

Indeed, as per the Daily Mail, the bright attacker has told Crystal Palace that he wants to leave the club this summer and so, if we are interested in making it happen, it looks as though it really could.

  • I am afraid there will be bigger fish than us chasing Zaha. These biggees will be looking at him as a “icing on the cake” player, a luxury, which is what he is. Us on the other hand need an injection of quality in one or two positions, that are likely to influence most if not all games, this is not Zaha, and he will be grossly over priced as well.

  • with 75 million, spurs must negotiate for Joao Felix(Benfica) or Timo Werner(Leibzig)..these 2 are wayyy better than zaha

  • Why buy Zaha? His form is so inconsistent and personally i think he is very overated. If he is so good why hasn’t anyone else tried to sign him? For the amount of money Palace value Zaha at, i think Spurs should search elsewhere. We need someone who plays well week in week out and who is young, fast, versatile and a intelligent footballer.
