According to a report from ESPN, while the June 12 Premier League restart date is currently under threat, the FA plan to eventually kick off football’s return with Spurs’ home game against Man United.
Pencilled in as the ‘opening fixture‘ for the league’s eventual return, many Spurs fans have reacted to the update on Twitter that we may be the first team – along with United – to be broadcast since football’s untimely suspension due to a global pandemic.
Should the Premier League restart on June 12?

ESPN sources claim that Spurs will face off against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side for the league’s opening game, and there is apparently a ‘desire’ to showcase this clash on a Friday night.
