Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Would be a great signing”, “Get Giroud” – Many Spurs fans divided over “older Soldado”

|

According to a report from Turkish outlet Sabah, Spurs and Lazio are the two clubs which are ‘seriously interested’ in poaching Fenerbache striker Vedat Muriqi in the summer transfer window – with many Spurs fans since becoming divided over the transfer link to an ‘older Soldado‘.

Muriqi, who has scored 13 goals and assisted four others over 24 league starts for the Super Lig side, is reportedly priced at around €25 million euros (£21.8 million).

However, while the price tag doesn’t seem like a gargantuan object, Spurs may face competition from Serie A club Lazio for his signature – with Daniel Levy potentially on the hunt for a back-up to star striker Harry Kane.

Would you like Spurs to sign Muriqi?

Yes

No

In response, plenty of Spurs supporters have been divided in their opinions over Muriqi – with one fan claiming it would be a ‘great signing’ while others look for potential alternatives like Olivier Giroud – who is soon to be out of contract at Chelsea.
