According to a report from football.london, Tottenham Hotspur have made ‘tentative enquires‘ towards Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek – with plenty of supporters since going on to become divided over the news.
Due to our fruitful past negotiations with Ajax, which have managed to land us the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez and Christian Eriksen, Spurs are reportedly now preparing to swoop for another player from the Amsterdam club – with playmaker van de Beek seemingly our next Eredivisie priority target.
This season, van de Beek has made 22 starts for Ajax in the Dutch first division, scoring eight goals and assisting five others in the process – potentially outlining him as a replacement for the recently departed Eriksen.
