Tottenham fans have got a lot to look forward to this season, but at the moment things really aren’t looking great. Later today they have a chance to start making things right away at Colchester in the Carabao Cup, and it looks like Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga could be set to star.
Our U23s are in #PL2 action this evening as they take on @Rovers at the County Ground in Leyland (KO 7pm).

It would be the pair’s competitive debuts for the senior side at Tottenham, although they’re no strangers to the fans given that they both became regular names on the fans lips over the course of the summer during the club’s pre-season.
Tanganga did well to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo among others as Spurs lined up against some of the best, whilst Parrott’s work upfront with the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son was mightily impressive, even if he couldn’t score over the course of the summer.
You can read the Lilywhites’ observations on the U23s squad here:
Yep, Troy Parrot at least on the bench tomorrow. Perfect game for a full debut.
