With Gedson Fernandes signed long ago and Steven Bergwijn set to be announced this week, Tottenham have been a busy club in this transfer window, and a third signing could be on the cards.
Tottenham have offered Erik Lamela or Juan Foyth in a deal to sign Krzysztof Piatek as they are unwilling to meet AC Milanβs valuation of the player.

The Times report that Spurs are looking to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek before the closure of the transfer window, with Erik Lamela and Juan Foyth being offered to the Serie A side as Tottenham are unwilling to meet the Italian club’s valuation for the Polish attacker.
Lamela Or Foyth For A Deal?
Lamela
Foyth
Not A Chance
Whilst most supporters were fine with Foyth being included in a deal, some on social media weren’t happy with Lamela being involved in a potential move to Milan, with the former AS Roma winger being a fan favourite in north London and becoming a regular under Jose Mourinho.
Here’s what a few Spurs fans had to say on Twitter about Lamela being involved in some form of deal for Piatek…
What’s the point of offering Lamela when he is one of our few creative players that we have. Foyth isn’t playing and unlike Lamela he is young with potential.

Broooo we need Lamela….

I don’t want Lamela to go. I think he brings much needed energy and passion to a team that often look like they lack it. I don’t think he’s ever seen as a starter though. If it was the difference in getting Piatek or not, I actually think I would let him go, even tho I am a fan.

Jose spoke very highly of Lamela recently.

The former Genoa striker has been linked with a move to Tottenham for the majority of the transfer window.
