Rumours linking Tottenham Hotspur with a supposed interest in AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek have been nothing new in the last few weeks of the January transfer window, and whether predictably or not, with reports of our interest rumbling on as the deadline nears, we’re now getting talk of a potential player swap deal to sweeten the cash outlay.
The original rumours rubbished talk of a loan deal, as AC Milan were said to want a straight cash deal for around the £30million mark, but Italian journalist Nicolo Schira took to social media yesterday at some point, to offer the following twist.
#Tottenham continue to discuss the signing of Kris #Piatek with #Milan. #Spurs don't want to spend €28/30M requested by Milan and aim for a swap deal with one of Wanyama, Lamela and Foyth. Talks ongoing with the intermediary Frank Trimboli. #transfers #THFC

I very much doubt circa £30million is beyond us, given our outlay so far and the fact transfer fees can be split over a contract, but I can imagine plenty of fans will raise their eyebrows at the suggestion that Erik Lamela and Juan Foyth are on the table for such a deal.
Wanyama would make sense from our point of view and a change of scenery could help get him back to his best, but unless there’s something else going on behind the scenes, I can see the other two being used as a makeweight.
Better not of offered Lamela hes proving to be good finally

Lamela must stay with us!!! It is among the best and should not be sold

Lamela has been one of our most consistent players this year. I don't see the value in letting him go anywhere.

Lamela? That would be mental.
