The need for Tottenham to spend this month is very clear. The Lilywhites need strengthening in a number of areas, and one of those areas is at right-back, which is where these links from El Desmarque come in, who have linked Spurs with a move for Man City’s Joao Cancelo.

The 25-year-old right-back is a wonderful player, and the reports claim that the Lilywhites could be set to bring in the player as a result of Cancelo becoming unhappy with his playing time and knowing Jose Mourinho personally, with the ex-Real Madrid boss contacting the player recently.
Tottenham are desperate for a brand new right-back, and whilst Man City won’t want to sell their player, if Cancelo decides that a move is what he needs then he could force this through, and Tottenham fans are already getting excited as the defender is one hell of a player.
