According to the Sun, Tottenham are looking to take advantage of the situation at Bolton Wanderers with Luca Connell in the club’s sights.
The young player has really emerged onto the scene this season and looks set to be a real talent, but his future with the Trotters must be up in the air.
They are seriously under threat from administration later this month and financially they need to raise funds, meaning Connell is surely in line to be sold.
Tottenham appear poised to strike for him, then, as the Trotters flounder at the moment and hopefully we can offer them a decent deal that helps them out too.
Whilst we obviously want a good deal it’s never nice to see famous clubs threatened with going to the wall and perhaps this will help them out.
Connell is a good young player, too, so under Poch he could surely forge himself a bright career in the game.
