According to the Daily Star, Tottenham are interested in Everton full-back Lucas Digne this summer but the Toffees will only let him leave if certain terms are met.
The French full-back arrived at Everton last summer and quickly went about showing why they signed him with him having an excellent season this year for the Blues.
Certainly, he looks capable of making it at a top-six club and it seems as though we are interested.
Everton, though, want Danny Rose as part of any deal and, for me, that is something worth entertaining.
Our own full-back has had a decent enough season but Digne has had a better one and is surely on an upward trajectory.
Rose, meanwhile, doesn’t seem the same player of a couple of seasons ago and I just wonder whether it is time for something new down that side.
Certainly, now the terms appear to have been laid out, Tottenham can, and must, press on with it.
