Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Just unbelievable”, “Noooo”, “Disaster” – Loads of Spurs fans unleash fury as news emerges

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been left fuming by the latest team news ahead of their Premier League clash on Friday night.

According to the Telegraph, young defender Japhet Tanganga will miss the return to action with a stress fracture in his back, which must come as a huge blow to Jose Mourinho as he had started the 21-year-old in their last three outings prior to lockdown.

It is hoped that the academy graduate is fit enough to feature before the end of the current campaign, especially as he’s been able to still train in the past few weeks.

Should Tanganga be Vertonghen's replacement?

Absolutely!

No, buy someone!

However, the news hasn’t gone down well with members of the Spurs faithful with many slamming the squad for always getting injured. Some pondered whether some players were made of glass whilst others blasted the club’s medical team.

With Dele Alli absent through suspension and Giovani Lo Celso a doubt, this week’s tie with Manchester United is looking a little worrying.

Here’s how fans have reacted to the news…
