“Take him when they go down” – Lots of Spurs fans drool over star “10x the player Lucas is”

Tottenham Hotspur picked up their first victory since February on Tuesday evening and plenty of supporters were left drooling over the performance of a surprise player.

In fact, the star in question was actually playing in claret and blue rather than the Lilywhite strip of Spurs.

West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen clearly impressed members of the fanbase with his display – per SofaScore, the 23-year-old recorded a 7.4 match rating, which was better than Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Giovani Lo Celso and also managed four successful dribbles, two key passes and three tackles.

Jose Mourinho’s side were reported to be interested in signing the Englishman after his impressive season for Hull City having scouted him closely but Bowen ended up joining the Hammers in a £22m deal in January.

Some of the Spurs faithful lauded the wide man, claiming that he was ten times the player of Lucas Moura whilst others suggested they try and snatch him from their London rivals should they get relegated this season.
