A recent transfer report has left many Tottenham Hotspur supporters in debate this week.
According to 90min, Spurs are one of a few Premier League clubs that have submitted an enquiry to Real Madrid about the availability of right-back Achraf Hakimi.
The 21-year-old has impressed during a two-year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, who are also desperate to keep hold of the Moroccan sensation.
Should Levy splash the cash on Hakimi this summer?
Absolutely!
Nope!
Chelsea and Manchester City are the other clubs mentioned in the report.
Some in north London see him as the perfect summer target as he’d bolster Jose Mourinho’s backline with his versatility to play on either side as well as his exciting attacking prowess.
As per WhoScored, Hakimi has made 41 appearances for the Bundesliga this term, providing nine goals and ten assists. He has also averaged 2.3 tackles, 2.1 tackles and 1.1 key passes per game.
Other fans find it hard to believe that Daniel Levy would open the chequebook for him, given the chairman’s lack of major spending during the course of his tenure.
It remains to be seen how much the young defender would command – or if Madrid have plans for him themselves. Transfermarkt currently value him at a whopping £48.6m.
Here’s how the Spurs faithful have been reacting…
Signing this guy would be incredible. He’s a baller!

He is one of best young RBs in the world. He won’t come to Spurs and they won’t accept a £2.5m

This will be big if it happens but it won’t so welcome back Alan Hutton

It would be fantastic but it’s completely unrealistic at the same time. Absolutely NO reason for Real Madrid to sell him.

He’s a real madrid player. And you know that special relationship. So after our enquiry they end up with Kane

Would you like to see Hakimi in a Spurs shirt this summer?
We should spend the money on Ajax right back Sergino Dest 19 year old, fantastic player, he could make that position his for the next ten years or so.
