Spurs are flying now and this season could well go down as one of the best in our history – I would argue – if we win the Champions League.
Of course, it is a big if and we’re playing an Ajax side up next that’s beaten Juventus and Real Madrid but we should be confident of bringing a real challenge to the Dutch side.
Away from that, though, Christian Eriksen continues to divide opinion.
On social media, we saw calls for him to sign a new deal coupled with others saying he’d gone missing in a big game – he really does split this fanbase.
On one side, he is an excellent footballer and then, on the other, there is the idea that he simply does not do it enough.
Personally, I’d get him signed onto a new deal but, after Wednesday night, we seem no clearer on what the right call would really be.
