After signing on deadline day, most Tottenham fans were certain they would be seeing plenty of Ryan Sessegnon following his move from Fulham, yet so far, it has been a patient waiting game for supporters.
Following ongoing examination and assessment over the past few days, we can confirm that @Ben_Davies33 sustained ligament damage to his left ankle during Saturday’s win against West Ham. #THFC #COYS

As stats from Transfermarkt show, the 19-year-old attacker has played just 16 minutes of first-team football for Spurs in all competitions since making the late move to the club, yet there could now be a chance for Sessegnon to make his mark on the senior squad.
Should Ryan Sessegnon start on Saturday?
Yes
No
Tottenham’s official website confirmed that Ben Davies sustained ligament damage in his ankle against West Ham last weekend, and Spurs fans on social media jumped at the chance to hound Jose Mourinho to start Sessegnon over Danny Rose, who admitted this month he will be seeing out his contract with the club as reported by The Evening Standard.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about Sessegnon replacing Davies in the starting XI on Twitter, with plenty of supporters keen to see the versatile teenager take up the left-back position in place for the injured Welsh defender…
Big loss get well soon Davies, Sesengon’s time to shine or Rose has to step up big time now.

Get well soon, @Ben_Davies33.❤
Pls don’t play Rose until he is ready to play correctly for us. He played really badly on Saturday’s match. Give chance for other to prove themselves; Sess, Lo Celse, Foyth…
