The opening of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season was meant to shadow in a new dawn for Spurs as a club and it’s future, but a new bombshell stat seemingly shows that it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows since moving in.

As Last Word on Spurs report, Tottenham have only managed a 57% win record in all competitions at their new stadium since moving in last April, with Jose Mourinho’s side having a fairly worrying loss percentage of 32% in the 28 games that have taken place at their new home.
Will Tottenham regret moving to a new stadium?
Yes
No
And for some Spurs fans on social media, these numbers were a worrying sign as it seemingly showed that Tottenham are yet to transition into the big club that many had expected this stadium move would bring to the north London side, with a few supporters unimpressed with the ambitious project.
Here’s what a handful of Tottenham fans had to say about the worrying stat on Twitter…
Iβd say this is bad compared to WHL but this is just bad full stop. A βtopβ team winning just over half of their home games itβs embarrassing

Not good.

Iβm only a member and I have been at 8 of the 9 defeats. Win percentage at all games (includes 2 away) this season for me is 35%. Absolutely abysmal and it also not value for me

Poor stats

For comparison Wenger had a 68% win rate at the emirates

Not good enough

If Spurs are to claim top-four in the Premier League this season, their fortunes at home will need to improve soon if they are to return to the Champions League.
i see the moaners and whiners are out in force again…the only embarassing thing about it is that we have fans who only see the bad ..never the good….
dougie….very true, but not a new thing, an ex pro footballer mate of mine once said to me “Spurs have the largest bunch of whinging fans than any other top flight team” at the time I was gobsmacked lol! but realise now how bloody true. COYS
