The bad news just keeps piling up for Tottenham this year, with Moussa Sissoko now confirmed to be out of first-team action until April at the earliest.

Spurs confirmed on their official website that the former Newcastle midfielder has undergone surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee after picking up the injury in Tottenham’s 1-0 loss to Southampton on New Years Day.
