Over the weekend, reports began circulating that Serge Aurier was now a target for former club, Paris Saint-Germain, and Italian side AC Milan.
With the European window remaining open and the right back having a mixed spell at White Hart Lane, the Daily Mail were one of a number to suggest that the 26-year-old was pushing for a return to his former club and there were even claims that with only 22 Premier League matches to his name with us, he’d already told teammates he expected to be off before we turned into September.
French outlet L’Equipe build on the Mail’s speculation, and have now claimed that PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo, has now spoken with both the Ivory Coast international and Spurs’ counterparts over the possibility of doing a deal.
They don’t suggest that a deal is close, or that anyone should expect it to happen, it’s left hanging on that front from the translation I’m reading, but there will definitely be those fans out there in the fanbase that would welcome the move. Others are far from convinced that we’d have suitable cover if he left.
Swap with Neymar

If he goes we're screwed. We should've bought a RB
