Tottenham fans have had a lot of food for thought over the last ten days or so. The Lilywhites have had to process the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino, the appointment of Jose Mourinho and now they’re having to wrap their heads around the latest rumours linking Gareth Bale with a Spurs return.
[@BRFootball] | Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is open to the prospect of bringing Gareth Bale back to the football club.
Mourinho already discussed the chance of the Welshman returning back when in discussions over the role at Spurs.#THFC #COYSpic.twitter.com/wKRcaylOBg

The rumours have come from B/R Football, and if it does come off it will be a massive deal for Daniel Levy and Mourinho. The Welshman is an incredible talent and has all of the abilities to make himself a star at Spurs all over again, not that he’d need to after his history with the club.
These are rumours that are guaranteed to excite the fans, and whilst previously they’ve been put off by the wages of the Welshman, now that Mourinho is at the club it seems they believe anything is possible, and they’d love nothing more than a return to north London for the Los Blancos star.
