According to the Sun, West Ham are interested in signing Spurs striker Fernando Llorente this summer with his contract up in the not too distant future.
The forward ended up playing more football than he might have expected towards the end of the campaign with Harry Kane out of the side.
However, he could be available for a move this summer on the cheap and it looks as though the Hammers – who need a striker – are aiming to snap him up.
In his mid 30s, Llorente has done okay for us at times this season but I think now represents a golden opportunity to let him go.
If we can send him off with a Champions League medal that would certainly be a bonus for sure but we might be better off trying to find a younger, more mobile back up option for next season.
