According to Calciomercato, Spurs are ready to try and battle it out with some of European football’s more established names for a young Nigerian midfielder.
The likes of Sampdoria, Villarreal and Dinamo Zagreb are all apparently interested in Nigeria U20 man Chikezie Miracle Nwaorisa in what would be a move for the future.
The teenager is yet to really feature for a big club on the European stage but it is clear that he has talent and Spurs have the chance to watch him more, if they want to, this summer.
He is set to play for Nigeria at the U20 World Cup in Poland and you can bet our scouts will be at that tournament to watch plenty of players, of which he could be one.
Whether or not we get him, though, remains to be seen as it is clear that a number of sides could be interested and even more than just the ones named.
