Tottenham Hotspur fans can finally put one piece of constant speculation behind them for a period, until the managerial merry-go-round begins once more with the next round of sackings as gaffer Mauricio Pochettino is no longer wanted by either Real Madrid or Manchester United.
With former French international midfielder, and former Madrid gaffer, Zinedine Zidane returning to the Bernabeu Stadium in recent weeks, yesterday the Old Trafford outfit confirmed that former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had been handed the job on a permanent basis – three year contract – given the impact he’s had with them since coming in as Jose Mourinho’s replacement.
It won’t stop some of the invented speculation in the tabloids and online from suggesting that Poch ‘has been identified as X’s replacement’ in the future, but it should at least stem the self-feeding nonsense we’ve seen again this season, with questions often dominating his pre-game press conferences.
Focus on ourselves now and see where the season goes.
Congratulations to Ole Gunnar Solskjær ???????? Couldn’t be happier for you mate ???? #THFC #COYS
