The Netherlands and Juventus icon represented Spurs for two seasons between 2005 and 2007 where Davids led Tottenham to two consecutive fifth-place finishes in the Premier League table, scoring just one goal.

Yet that one goal, coming in a 2-1 win against Wigan, was an impressive strike from the defensive midfielder, and the Premier League decided to honour the Dutch legend by reposting the destroyer’s only league striker for Spur on their official Twitter account, a video that was met with lots of praise and fond memories from Tottenham supporters on social media.
