Tottenham supporters went into their clash with Bayern Munich yesterday with very few expectations. The Lilywhites knew that their side would be resting a lot of players, and with a chance to get some minutes into the legs of a number of youngsters, it was an exciting prospect.

However, what happened was a massive disappointment, and the blame for that lies at the door of just one man. One of the most promising young players in the Spurs side is Troy Parrott, yet the 17-year-old Irishman was left on the bench for this one and didn’t play a single minute.
When Mourinho made his final change on the night, bringing Victor Wanyama off the bench to replace Eric Dier with nine minutes to go, the fans took to Twitter to fume at Jose. They were 3-1 down to Bayern and Parrott could have got ten or so minutes under his belt.
Will Parrott be able to break into the first-team?
Yes
No

Wanyama seriously bro what about Parrott

The Lilywhites were absolutely livid to see Parrott end the game as an unused substitute and it’s now hard to see where significant minutes will come for the striker.
