“Quality” “Can We Keep You” – Spurs Youngster Impresses On Loan Again As He Helps Himself To Another Goal

|

During the summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles headed out for his first loan spell away from the club and League Two side Cambridge United was his destination.

The 20-year-old is doing pretty well for them and following last weekend’s action, he now has six starts and four substitute showings to his name. He’s also chipped in with three goals, the last of which came against Exeter on Saturday.

The youngster took to social media following the game to give his own reaction to the performance, and he couldn’t resist a little dig at a teammate.

Having clearly impressed Cambridge fans during his run-outs so far, he came in for further praise after that effort.

It was a controlled and tidy finish as well – around the 1:20 mark in the highlights package below.

With plenty of fans having high hopes for the lad given the plaudits he’s already received working his way through our youth ranks, it’s good to see him adjusting so well to League Two life and making his mark, and especially with first team concerns at the minute, at least the future continues to look bright for him.
