November is here, which means that rumours for the January transfer window are beginning to pick up, and Tottenham have been linked with an interesting and exciting name.

According to A Bola via TEAMtalk that Spurs have re-entered the race for Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo, with the Portuguese outlet claiming that the Liga NOS side will only accept a bid of €40m (£34m) for their star defender.

With Outside of the Boot comparing the left-back to Barcelona star Jordi Alba, there is a good reason why plenty of Spurs fans on social media were buzzing to see Grimaldo linked with a move to the north London club, with lots of supporters eager to see the Spaniard replace Danny Rose at the club.
