“Not Even Ready For The Championship” – These Spurs Fans Disagree As Journalist Makes Pochettino Claim

|

With poor form for Tottenham Hotspur across the year of 2019, tensions have certainly risen given our poor and largely unexpected start to the 2019/20 campaign and with plenty of fans providing their own reasons for why the wheels have begun falling off at White Hart Lane, there’s a good number of fans who feel it is time for manager Mauricio Pochettino to put his trust in our next generation of youngsters given the underperformance we have seen from our seniors.

Not everyone agrees with this, however, and there are definitely those fans who whilst rating the likes of Oliver Skipp, Troy Parrott and others, feel that in the current climate it would be the proverbial throwing the sheep to the wolves and it would cause their development far more harm than good.

Journalist David Ornstein claimed this week that he believed Pochettino was now ready to make a more youthful pivot and would prioritise them over our summer signings as they continue adjusting to life at the club.

Certainly a mixed bag, but youngsters do often have a no fear approach to begin with so it might spark an impetus for us, but I also highly doubt Poch would throw so many in at once.
