Pochettino’s former assistant Jesus Perez posted to his official Twitter account a touching photo of the Argentine manager writing a goodbye message to the Tottenham squad after being dismissed by Daniel Levy from his position at the club after five-and-a-half years with the north London side.
Has The Right Man Gone?YesNo |
And after the gravity of Pochettino leaving had subsided, this photo from Perez has again got Tottenham supporters on social media weeping and emotional given the impact the duo had at the club and how far the two coaches took Spurs in their five seasons at Spurs.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about Pochettino’s goodbye message to the club, with lots of supporters feeling the emotions on Twitter…
Stop this Jesus, I’ve gone again. I’ve never cried this much since 90+6.
Hope the club could give you a real farewell in the stadium, so we could show our gratitude for everything you’ve done for this incredible club.
