According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, via Sport Witness, there are a number of Premier League clubs interested in former Tottenham player Marcus Edwards.
The midfielder was once very highly-rated at Tottenham and made one appearance under Mauricio Pochettino.
He was eventually shipped out, joining Vitoria permanently last summer, before going on to score against Arsenal in a Europa League tie I am sure we all remember.
Should we make a move for Marcus Edwards?
Yes
No
That shows that he still has the talent, as does six goals and seven assists this term, so it is perhaps unsurprising that he is gaining attention.
The clubs rumoured to be interested have not been named but the news has still prompted several fans to call on Spurs to bring him back to North London – it is certainly true that he has unfinished business.
In addition, the report claims that we will receive 50% of the transfer fee paid to the Portuguese side, and that means will we basically get him for half price if we manage to lure him away.

I’ve seen this kid play through his time at #Spurs. He is Brilliant. It was a BAD DAY when we ditched him.

If he has matured and is performing on the pitch bring him back and give him a second chance. We have no money so why not take a risk. If he doesn’t perform, move him on again.
