Following Tottenham’s emphatic 3-0 win at home to Leicester City at the weekend, lots of Spurs fans have picked out goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for praise after his brilliant heroics between the sticks – with the Frenchman producing some noteworthy stops to help Jose Mourinho’s side keep a clean sheet.

Just before the break, a quick-fire double from star striker Harry Kane ensured Tottenham carried a hefty 3-0 advantage going into the second period, but our £13.05 million-valued shot stopper also played his part in rounding off a memorable afternoon.

Despite failing to deal with a dangerous cross during the first 45, Lloris redeemed himself with an heroic save to keep out Ayoze Perez’ volley and went on to stop the attacker again soon after.

The Frenchman also tipped a sweetly-struck Demarai Gary attempt over at the bar to help spare concession, prompting these Lilywhites to praise his contribution on social media.
