For a while, it seemed like Tottenham might re-sign Fernando Llorente heading into the final days of the transfer window, but, the Premier League side have now missed out.

Napoli confirmed the signing of the 34-year-old attacker on their official Twitter account, and although this now leaves Spurs with just one senior striker in the first-team in Harry Kane, supporters still thanked Llorente on social media for his two years of service at the club.
