Tottenham fans have got very little time for the way that Daniel Levy so often operates in the transfer market, and as the majority of fans are desperate to see a new striker come in to help get by whilst Harry Kane is injured, Jose Mourinho’s comments have hardly encouraged the supporters.
José Mourinho on whether #thfc need to sign a striker: "Yeah, but to do something you have to do something that is good for our future too, not just good for tomorrow." pic.twitter.com/RkcaPJOVbP

The Lilywhites want a new striker brought in, yet Mourinho’s latest comments have hardly given them any faith in one being signed. Mourinho has claimed that Tottenham do need to buy a striker, but they need to buy for the future and not just for tomorrow.
Those words are certainly sensible, but the fans aren’t happy and they believe that a new striker could be brought in for both tomorrow and the future, as when Kane returns he will need help and someone to take his place when he needs a break.
