Levy gives Spurs edge in race with European elite for £45m-rated powerhouse

|

Spurs are getting linked with plenty of players this summer already and it seems pretty exciting to see so many names rumoured.

Of course, we can’t and won’t sign them all but it does look as though we will go for it in the summer window now that the stadium is all sorted.

Daniel Levy has done a good job of managing things, then, and it seems as though he might well have given us an edge in the race for Tanguy Ndombele.

Accdording to L’Equipe, Levy has a good relationship with the hierarchy at the midfielder’s current club Lyon and that could give us the edge over Manchester United and Juventus who are also keen.

Ndombele is a powerful presence in the middle of the park and is valued at a cool £45m by transfermarkt, which would make him an expensive signing.

If Levy knows the French club well, though, maybe he can strike us a good deal.
