A different news story regarding Tanguy Ndombele and a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur appears to emerge every single day and it appears fans on Twitter are not quite buying one of the latest bits of news to have appeared.
Spurs fans that have been following movements regarding the Olympique de Lyonnais ace will have already realised that there seems to be a development of an encouraging nature that is almost immediately followed by a negative spin and one that has us all questioning what really is going on, however, it seems the tide is starting to change on that front.
Firstly, a Football.London report states Ndombele is believed to have indicated to Tottenham that he wants to join them this summer and confidence regarding a deal for the 22-year-old is thought to be at a high between everyone involved.
The Evening Standard appear to be backing up those claims now, as they suggest that a move is getting ‘closer’ and there is a confidence amongst all parties that a deal will be struck.
Everyone but the Spurs fans on Twitter it would seem.
Many of them reacted to Hotspur Related’s Twitter post regarding the news and plenty of them stated that they had seen the same sort of news update for a very long period of time before and were no more confident than they were before of getting a deal done for Ndombele.
In fact, a large number of them were extremely negative regarding the update. Here are just some of their reactions…
Getting close to a deal for about 2 weeks… bored of reading the same old stuff on here everyday ???? pic.twitter.com/ApHk0NaVnc

Couldn’t care less about “confident a deal can be agreed”. In fact, the more i see it, the less confident I am that a deal will be agreed ????
