‘It’s time to go’, ‘Don’t need him’ – Many Tottenham fans slate last season’s hero after shocker

|

Tottenham fans will forever be in Lucas Moura’s debt for the way he put Ajax to the sword in last season’s Champions League semi-final, but he cannot ride off the wave of that display forever, and his recent poor performances simply aren’t good enough at the moment.

The Brazilian played all 90 minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday and he was not at the races for a lot of the game. The fans are getting increasingly frustrated with the way that the ex-PSG man is found giving the ball away and running into blind alleyways so often.

The Lilywhites have given Lucas loads of time and loads of opportunities to impress, but he just isn’t doing it. In his last eleven games in the Premier League Lucas has managed just one assist and zero goals (WhoScored), and for an attacking player in a team that’s missing both Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane, that is nowhere near good enough.

Is Lucas Moura good enough?

Yes

No

The Lilywhites are sick and tired of Lucas and you can read the comments here:

The Lilywhites are getting sick and tired of Lucas and will be keen to see him dropped sooner rather than later.

Moura is a good play, yet he’s currently being played out of position as we failed to sign an adequate back up or keep hold of Llorente who many fans also slated.

Sturridge has just been released and may be an option till the end of the season! Yet doubt we’ll do anything as we could have signed Kouyate already, neither are ideal I know, as we need more of a Troy Deeney type upfront to bulldoze and harrass opposition defences allowing Moura, Bergwijn and Alli to feed off whoever that may be.

I agree with Phil ….. let’s not forget Luca Maura is playing out of position …. he is definitely not a no 9…..a good front man plays well when he is fed quality balls from the midfield How often has our midfielder lost the ball and gave the ball away cheaply… yet you coys crucify him.. he is not a hold up player for his height he makes a dam good effect to win aeriall balls …..he runs into positions… anticipating a through ball which ought to be played to him .. when deli run into positions and don’t get the ball no one complains guess because he is English … come on u spurs fans … Lucas is filling in… remember this season Harry Kane has also not gave. Five star performance before his injury …

Lucas is a top class striker, he’s proved it! When you’re in a que behind Harry and Son and given sparodic 1st team opportunities whilst not being fed by midfielders who are not worthy to wear the Spurs shirt then you are always going to be struggling to meet the demands expected by the Tottenham faithful. Mourinho changes the team like the British weather and continues to try and hide his negative management style by continually moaning about the teams injured players.
We have the recources to maintain our strike rate up front but we need play makers and team members who show commitment in every game, not once in a while day dream believers.
Lets own up, apart from Lo Celso who has Levy bought thats shown future promise and has the flair, skills and world class commitment to continue long term at the club. We’ve already sold 4 of our better players and the replacements have not lived up to their level.
Get rid of Mourinho and his boring negative attitude, bring in Grealish or Maddison for starters these lads dont stop, either one would be more than happy to feed Lucas up front, both are England material with great futures, give either one the chance to make their names even bigger at Tottenham. Whats happened to our team spirit, flair, inspiration, and ability to play a positive string of passes with cutting edge precision and skills which inevitably leads to goal scoring and match winning capabilities! SIMPLE, wrong manager, wrong players, wrong attitude!

    The FRAUDSTER,nevermind the special one.
Lukas, dont listen to people who have no idea what they’re talking about.
Our manager is one of them.
How càn you say its an experiment when u should be doing that on the training ground.
How can you have a young hungry forward on the bench and play players out of possition.
I can go on till the cows come home but b…..s to that.
Mr Levi, for the sake of the beautiful game that we lily whites are accustom to,please get rid of the FRAUDSTER
