Tottenham’s upcoming FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough has already caused some problems for fans in terms of making the long trip up north, but the club have come in to help.

Spurs announced on their official website that the club will subsidise coach travel to the Riverside Stadium due to the limited train service taking place that day, with Tottenham offering transportation to and from Middlesbrough on January 5th.

The FA Cup has become a competition of importance this season for Spurs following the arrival of Jose Mourinho, with The Daily Mail reporting that Tottenham players are urging the Portuguese manager to put greater emphasis on the trophy this year given the fact the club have yet to won silverware since 2008 in the form of the League Cup.
