Hugo Lloris could leave Tottenham – report

|

According to Le10 Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Hugo Lloris and want to bring the goalkeeper to the Parc des Princes this summer. The Ligue 1 champions are overstocked between the sticks, with Gianluigi Buffon expected to stay for another season, Kevin Trapp returning from loan and Alphonse Areola being a regular between the sticks, but Lloris could be their new No.1.

The 32-year-old has made 297 appearances in all competitions since joining Tottenham in 2012, conceding 318 goals and keeping 106 clean sheets. Lloris has been a regular in goal for the last six years, but the report states that he could consider a return to France. Lloris has played for Nizza, OGC Nice and Olympique Lyonnais before he came to the Premier League.

PSG are reportedly looking to sign David De Gea from Manchester United, Keylor Navas from Real Madrid or Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan, but Lloris would be a more affordable option. Tottenham paid £12m for the French international and agreed a deal worth £5.2m-a-year/£100k-per-week.

It’s unknown how much Spurs would request for the goalkeeper, but they’d want their money back at the very least. Lloris still has three years remaining on his deal, but he may be lured back to France if he feels he’s achieved all he can in England.
