Dele Alli was not named in Gareth Southgate’s 25-man squad that will face off against Bulgaria and Kosovo in the final few qualifying rounds for EURO 2020, despite The Telegraph reporting that the midfielder would be fit to play in this weekend’s North London Derby.
Of course, Tottenham fans were worried that the 23-year-old midfielder was now not fit enough to play in one of the biggest fixtures of the season, and supporters jumped onto social media to react to Alli’s omission from the England squad.
Here is what some Spurs supporters had to say on Twitter…
No Dele I really hope this doesn’t meant he’s not fit enough for Sunday

Everyone moans when they call up our players coming back from injury and now they still moan when they don’t It’s a good thing Dele hasn’t been picked.

Alli has missed every game of the season so far due to a hamstring problem.
