Highly Rated Spurs Man Makes Milestone Appearance Against Burnley – Many More To Follow

|

In Saturday’s clash at Wembley Stadium between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley, Academy graduate Oliver Skipp reached the first proper milestone in what should be a long and successful career for the lad.

The 18-year-old has impressed many at the club and in the fanbase with his performances for our underage levels and manager Mauricio Pochettino has already called on him twice for first-team duties – he made his senior substitute debut in the EFL Cup back in October in the victory over West Ham and he made his Premier League bow as a substitute in December’s clash against Southampton.

Saturday saw him go one further and he received his full top-flight starting debut for Spurs.

With high hopes for the young lad, fans on social media were naturally delighted to see him get his chance.

Skipp got the opening 75 minutes in the 1-0 victory, being replaced by Son Heung-Min as we went in search of the winner that came via Christian Eriksen’s stoppage-time effort and it should’ve done him the world of good in terms of an education.
