Tottenham Hotspur topped off a good week on Saturday as we added another three points to our Premier League tally with victory over Burnley.
It was a tight game and although we were in control, there wasn’t much of a punch up front but second-half substitute Christian Eriksen did what he does best and turned the game in our favour in stoppage-time as we recorded a 1-0 victory.
With some strong performances, even allowing for a line of thought that our midweek efforts had maybe counted against us, statistics website Whoscored gave their star man rating to unexpected centre-half Ben Davies.
The Welshman took a score of 7.62 for his efforts on the day and the top five performers did have a defensive feel to them.
Toby Alderweireld received 7.11, Eriksen 7.08, senior full debutant Oliver Skipp got 7.02 on his big day and Kieran Trippier grabbed 6.99.
Onto Arsenal in the EFL Cup with revenge and a place in the semi-finals up for grabs.
