Over the last two games that the Lilywhites have gone into, there can be no doubting that Japhet Tanganga is going to be key to the club’s defence in the comings years. The youngster is a star, and we all want to see more of the 20-year-old sensation.

Loads of Tottenham fans have been left absolutely awestruck by Tanganga and how quickly he’s stepped up to the plate at the club. The Lilywhites adore their young versatile defender, and after his recent performances against Liverpool and Middlesbrough, it’s not hard to see why.
The youngster has been used all across the defence in a back three and a back four over the last two games as Jose Mourinho has chopped and changed, but one thing that has remained the same is that Tanganga is a star, and he’s certainly got a bright future.
Will Mourinho fix the defence?
Yes
No

What a start for Japhet, 2 games in and Man of the match. This kid is going places…..can we come up with a chant/song for him, cause I think he will be here for a while. Well done @JTanganga99

How’s he playing out of position in his second professional game and getting MOTM

I’m not gonna get carried away cos he’s still a young lad, but I can say with confidence that he’s already the greatest footballer in the history of the game. You can’t change my mind.

Deserved! What a performance and not in his favoured position!
Scarily good talent
Hoping @JTanganga99 signs a new long-term contract and nails down a starting spot by building on two great performances— My kingdom for a holding midfielder (@MattyFrench82) January 14, 2020
Well deserved. 2 performances in and he’s looking very confident. Just what we needed at the back

The Lilywhites adore Tanganga, and the more they get to see of the youngster the better at this stage.
