Spurs Word On The Tweet

‘Get over it’ – These Tottenham fans slam club icon for comments that show ‘loser mentality’

Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking last year was one of the most surprising moments in the history of Tottenham in the Premier League era, and even now four months later, not many fans have a bad word to say about their former manager.

Yet the Argentine coach has found himself in some hot water with a few supporters following a recent interview with Sky Sports News in which Pochettino praised the legacy he left behind at the club, mentioning that finishing up rivals Arsenal and consistently qualifying for the Champions League were major accomplishments.

Aston Villa...

Win

Lose

Draw

And as you would expect, these comments didn’t sit well with some supporters on social media, who were frustrated with the Tottenham icon for his seemingly lack of desire to win silverware during his five years with the club despite reaching two major finals with Spurs.

Here’s what a few Tottenham fans had to say on Twitter about Pochettino’s comments…

Tottenham fans will be hoping Jose Mourinho can bring silverware back to the white half of north London with Spurs still in both the FA Cup and Champions League.

Finally I see the spurs fans waking up for the reality; since when qualifying for champions league is enough for a top team that’s what Arsenal fans use to said after Wenger been there and won a couple of leagues was good but then more that 15 years without wining nothing and spurs with Poch was exactly on the same way as I always said it’s easy play pretty hard is to win and if u can put them together good if not do your best to win and play pretty next time; let’s have same believe in Jose maybe we start winning something this year already and that will be a bonus because I don’t believe we stay next year without wining nothing

Football is a business and big clubs now are only interested in the Champions Keague and the Premier League. The FA Cup is for Watford and Crystal Palace.

Poch created a decent team at Spurs but he didn’t have the umph to be a winner. In his last year he was sidetracked by the jobs at MU & RM. The way he’s hounding Solkskars job is total obsession. I hope this will come to haunt him one day. Believe in karma. What’s comes around will go around. Greed.
