With most of the January transfer speculation focusing on replacing the likes of Harry Kane following more recent injury blows for Tottenham Hotspur, there are suggestions that we are looking to improve the fullback options at the club.
With Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier receiving mixed reviews from fans so far in the campaign of 2018/19, French outlet 10Sport have recently linked manager Mauricio Pochettino with a possible move for Nice fullback Youcef Atal.
The 22-year-old has been pretty impressive by all accounts as he continues to establish himself in their squad this year, and it’s been suggested that Spurs have joined the likes of Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in looking at the Algerian.

For us, the claim is more that Poch is looking for an Aurier replacement, but fans taking to social media to give their thoughts on the speculation brought up an alternative option for Trippier as well.
With Kyle Walker-Peters at the club though and many fans feeling he should be getting greater game time, I’m not so sure there’s much in this one.
I'd be more worried about replacing tripper rather than aurier but 2 full back would be nice

He’s actually good, skilled going forward with great technique. A bit suspectable in defense though.
