The injury to Heung-min Son was one of the biggest blows to Tottenham this season, and the South Korea international has spoken out about why he carried on playing during that faithful day.
Sonny on his fractured arm: “I kept playing, I don’t know how. I could feel it in the game, yes, but it was so important, I didn’t want to say I couldn’t play because of my arm and tried to keep going to help the team. I’m doing very, very well though.” #thfc pic.twitter.com/DXMsHqi40B

The Tottenham superstar admitted to Football London that he has no idea how he was able to continue playing despite fracturing his arm against Aston Villa, with Son going on to score the last-minute winner for Spurs, in what was to be a huge three points for the north London side but at the cost of the 27-year-old being ruled out for months.
Yet despite Son’s reasons for staying on, plenty of Tottenham fans on social media loved his honest answer as to why he didn’t come off, with many supporters showering the winger with praise and hoping he is back to full fitness in time for the resumption of the Premier League season.
Here’s what lots of Spurs fans had to say about Son’s comments on Twitter…
That’s dedication, what a bloke.
