The Premier League is back in a matter of hours but we have to wait until tomorrow to get our latest game underway against Huddersfield.
On paper, it is a match that we should be winning but they are playing without the pressure of trying to stop getting relegated now and so we must be wary.
Away from the match, though, an interesting report from Football Insider emerged recently as they claimed that we’ve jetted out to scout Portuguese sensation Joao Felix.
The youngster is really starting to excel for Benfica and could be the next big thing but, according to the report, he has a release clause of £106m.
Now, you’d not expect to have to pay that anyway but, clearly, the Portuguese side want someone to pay through the nose for him and, that said, you’d wonder if Daniel Levy would do it.
He’s not scared to pay the right money but not after a hard bargain and, if he did complete a deal for someone as young as Felix, you’d wonder where the real Levy had gone.
At the moment, it seems a deal that he simply wouldn’t sanction right now.
