Tottenham fans have got a lot of problems with Daniel Levy and the way that their chairman runs the club, and tonight has seen Levy getting both barrels from the fans as he’s failed to add a striker to Jose Mourinho’s playing squad, something that has gone down like a lead balloon.
Shows the quality of strikers realistically available in the January window when Manchester United, Chelsea & Spurs are all hunting for one and it looks like only United are going to succeed & it's Odion Ighalo. Only shows how much Spurs needed to replace Llorente in the summer.

Alasdair Gold was just one of the ever-reliable Tottenham journalists keeping everyone up to date on what went down during the final hours of the window, and with over two hours left in the window, he gave the fans an update that left them all well aware a striker wasn’t going to be signed.
Spurs had been linked to many a forward in the window. From Willian Jose through to Olivier Giroud, and the supporters would have loved to have signed any of their supposed options, although it just didn’t happen and now the fans have been left with very little faith in their side.
You can read the Lilywhites’ thoughts on their lack of a striker here:
Pay the money and you’ll sign a striker. Clubs across Europe have proved that. Haaland a prime example. Hertha Berlin managed to sign a striker we were allegedly after. It’s the structure of our offers which mean we don’t sign players.

Should have done the Willian Jose deal – not mad money and he’d have done a job this season and capable back up for Kane next 2 seasons as well. Won’t get anyone better than him for 25m euros in the summer

To think we are going to play the vast majority, if not all of, the rest of the season without a recognised, senior striker.

This is going to cost us.

More like it shows how much our chairman really cares about the success of our club

But there was loads available in this window, left it too late as always complete joke

The Lilywhites are clearly fuming with both Levy and their situation and will be keen to see someone join early in the summer.
