Although it’s been a quiet summer transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur so far, the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele has been a massive lift for fans and he was another shining light in yesterday’s Audi Cup victory over Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old record capture has already impressed plenty of fans with his outings during pre-season and the few training clips that have been put out by the club, but Ndombele seriously impressed during the first half as he got a 45 minute runout in our 1-0 victory and it more than looks like the former Lyon midfielder has already settled into the club nicely, and that can only bode well for next season.
There are also some good signs of some partnerships and understandings being built now, and with plenty of fans already having high hopes for the lad, those expectations have certainly grown after that performance.
The pleasing thing is he wasn’t the only player to catch the eye.
