Can Spurs Mix Things Up At Molineux – Match Thread

|

With more disappointment against Bayern Munich in the Champions League dead rubber in midweek, given we had a weakened team on show, there were still some positives but manager Jose Mourinho will be wanting further improvement as we make the trip to the Midlands on Sunday afternoon for our Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

With a noticeable shift in form and results since the arrival of our new Portuguese gaffer in mid-November, we all know there are plenty of improvements left to make in our overall play and although the likes of Dele Alli appeared to have gained a second wind, other players are yet to truly step up to the plate given we all know just how good they can be.

Wolves under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo won’t be an easy nut to crack though and they are in good form themselves after a slow start to the year with early Europa League commitments disrupting their pre-season, but having lifted ourselves back up the top flight table, this is our opportunity to edge ahead of them again and close the gap on that top four.

Whether we can or not, remains to be seen but there’s no harm in being optimistic.
