After Danny Rose announced to The Evening Standard that he will be running down his contract at Tottenham, the left-back made himself a much-disliked figure at the club, and things are yet to improve between the player and supporters.

The defender admitted to The Guardian following Tottenham’s 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich that despite a change in manager, he will still be running down his contract with the club which expires in 18-months time and won’t be leaving for any club during that time.

Rose was an unpopular figure already by Spurs supporters following his bombshell announcement last month, but his latest comments have again hit a sore spot amongst Tottenham fans on social media, with lots of followers of the club turning on the England international.
